Hydra 1.6 now available in German

Good news for our friends from Germany, Switzerland and Austria!

In addition to some bug fixes within Aperture (look here for more details), today's release includes the whole German localization of Hydra.

The user guide (choose Help, and then Help Hydra to open it).

Many students can't afford to buy an application. That's the reason why we now give an academic discount.

Who can get the academic discount?
Any student, lecturer or teacher can get a 50% discount off the price of his/her whole order.

Is the discount limited?
There's no time limit to use the discount. However, the coupon code you will receive is strictly personal. Therefore, you can use it only once.

What if you buy several products?
Let's say today you want to buy Morph Age Regular 4.x and Magnet 1.x in a single order. You will get a coupon code giving you a 50% discount off the price of both products. A few months later, you intend to buy Hydra 1.x. You have to ask for a new coupon code for buying Hydra because your first coupon code is not valid anymore.

HDR Imaging within Aperture? Now a Reality.

You can now download version 1.6 of Hydra, our application for easily creating HDR images on Mac OS X Leopard. Hydra 1.6 includes a unique plug-in for bringing HDR Imaging into Aperture.

Go to the page "Products", choose "Hydra" and then click "Download".

And now, you can fully enjoy HDR Imaging with Aperture.

Hydra 1.5 is out !

We are now releasing Hydra 1.5. This version has lots of new features (check them), two of the most important ones being the improved image processing pipeline, RAW/OpenEXR/Tone Mapping, and Aperture integration, import/export/plugin. As a side note: we are aware of some difficulties for image alignment on MacBook and MacMini with Intel Graphics chipsets and we are working on it. Stay tuned and enjoy!

We are proud to announce that we are releasing Morph Age 4 (Regular / Pro) today. Check the new features (and bug fixes) here. Documentation is updated as well, and we have 2 new screencasts (working with movies and using motion curves) demoing movie morphing and the use of blending and motion curves. The software is translated into French.

We are changing name. New name, new products, new many things. People stay.

We have been developing Cocoa software for almost 10 years now (we started in 1998) with first commercial apparition in 2002 with Morph Age 1.x. Things have evolved a lot since then. We are far more productive now than we were back in those years because we learnt, and the tools got so many improvements. We have worked a lot these past months and all we can say right now is that good things coming these days, hope you'll enjoy them.

Magnet 1.5 Beta

WWDC'07 was Great!

Apple's Worldwide Developer conference was a great event this June in San Francisco, and a great opportunity to meet all these famous Mac developers (see our photo stream for some of them). Leopard brings many new stuff, and will pave the way to more dynamic and interactive interfaces... And who knows, all these new technologies may find their way into Morph Age or other products... We can't wait until next year!

<rant>We also take this opportunity to show you our new website design. We decided to give Sandvox a try, and, well, seems fine so far... We should also point CSSEdit from Macrabbit.com, which beyond the fact that they are Belgians as we are, do a pretty amazing software for editing CSS style sheets. If you don't know that software and regularly do CSS stuff (or not regularly for that matter), give them a try. But be warned, highly addictive stuff, I can assure you you won't leave their website with empty hands... ;-) </rant>

Morph Age Updated to 3.1

We are proud to announce this new version of Morph Age, version 3.1. One recurrent feature request that we got at Macworld was to permit the creation of higher resolution images for print or other applications and this update brings that capability. Also, the processing pipeline was updated to work on Leopard when it ships later this spring, and even includes support for Leopard's Quick Look.

Morph Age 3.0 is now available. Here is the press release. Upgrade policy is $20 for owners of Morph Age 2.x who bought it before Jan 1st 2006, and it is a free upgrade for customers who bought it after that (Jan 1st 2006 included). Existing customers receive either a reduction coupon or a new Unlock Code. Checkout all the exciting new features (Universal Binary, iSight capture, new user experience, Quartz Composer integration...).

Here is our new website! Finally. We hope it is more visually attractive, and of course that you'll find all the information you need. Warning: may not function properly on older browsers (how on earth is it possible to provide a browser that does not support PNG transparency, a format that has been there for so many years. I guess it would take half a day to fix that so, come on, Microsoft ??? I won't reduce this site quality standards for IE, no way).
